Column one

Ilike this template because it gives a professional look to any Web site.  If using a three column design it will automatically drop down to a two column design for windows and browsers with low resolution.  Thus eliminating the need for a bottom scroll bar.

When you view a 3-column Type template page with your window width set to 1024 pixels (or more), you'll see all 3 columns arranged horizontally across your screen. If your window is 800 pixels wide (or less), you'll see 2 columns.

Where do the columns go?

The outer columns do not disappear—they simply and seamlessly drop to the bottom of their preceding column. Each column will always have a full-height vertical border. Folks with narrow browser windows will never know what they're missing. In fact, they will not miss a thing.

Accessibility

Section 508 guidelines are adhered to. All content is, of course, always accessible to search engine spiders and the adaptable columns provide a unique level of usability on a wide range of large and small devices.

Layout Options

Requirements

Creating a TD site is as simple as choosing the number of columns (2, 3, or 4), what kind of navigation bar you'd like.

The Type Template has been tested in the following browsers:

IE5.x, IE6, IE7
Firefox 1.x (and higher)
Safari 1.2x (and higher)
Opera 9.x (and higher)

Column Three

Drop Caps and Typefaces

Typographers have been using drop caps since medieval times as a design element. Rather than using a standard web font-family, such as Arial, Verdana, or Georgia, we've opted to use a more stylish family of typefaces. Depending on your computer and its configuration, you'll see either Palatino Linotype, Palatino, Baskerville, or Book Antiqua.
